We are excited to introduce Associate Tax Attorney Leslie Miranda as one of the newest members of the Hone Maxwell LLP team. With her extensive background in tax controversy and international tax planning, Leslie is poised to bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to our clients.

Born in Venezuela, Leslie is proficient in Spanish and English, an invaluable skill set in helping individuals and businesses navigate the intricate maze of U.S. tax laws’ intersection with international entities. Her understanding of the complexities of these laws, combined with her ability to communicate fluently in two major languages, positions her as a unique asset in the legal field.

Leslie’s journey in law spans three continents over more than two decades and includes multiple law degrees and significant roles in diverse legal environments. During her time at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela, Leslie interned at the Office of the City Prosecutor for the City of Caracas and at a prominent litigation firm. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to further specialize in Venezuelan tax law at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and in European tax law from the University of Salamanca, Spain.

In 2012, Leslie moved to San Diego, where she continued to make her mark in the legal community. From working as a legal researcher for a state senator to managing the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program at the Better Business Bureau, her varied experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective that will undoubtedly benefit our clients.
