Samantha represents individuals, business owners, and closely held businesses in complex tax disputes, including IRS examinations, appeals, collections matters, installment agreements, offers in compromise, penalty abatements, and trust fund recovery penalty matters.

With more than 17 years of legal experience and an LL.M. in Taxation, Samantha helps clients navigate highly stressful tax situations with a calm, practical, solution-oriented approach. She works closely with clients facing significant tax liabilities and sensitive financial matters, providing strategic guidance tailored to each client’s circumstances and long-term goals. Her experience includes matters involving unreported and underreported income, liens, levies, and other complex procedural and collection issues.

Before joining HMLLP, Samantha founded a boutique tax resolution and advisory firm focused on helping self-employed individuals, professionals, and business owners resolve sophisticated tax challenges and develop long-term compliance strategies. Prior to that, she served as director at large Colorado-based consulting firm providing regulatory enforcement defense and outsourced compliance consulting for financial professionals.
