Hone Maxwell LLP International Business Manager Khris Gonzalez, provides smooth onboarding for new clients while facilitating ongoing communication and support between clients and the firm’s attorneys. Based in HMLLP’s Mexico City office and fluent in both English and Spanish, Khris often serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients. Her main focus is on delivering stellar client service and nurturing strong relationships in firm interactions.

Khris also supports the attorneys on corporate law matters for clients and manages the firm’s own corporate compliance functions. She plays an integral part in the firm’s Global Private Counsel service, providing consulting and case management for clients’ international business,
law, and tax needs.

Previously, Khris worked as an executive assistant for a Tijuana-based company that serves as a distributor in the maquiladora industry. She also has experience in import/export support for a large industrial product manufacturer in Mexico. In both roles, Khris played an integral part in organizing, logistics and systems related to international business operations. This background gives Khris an understanding of many of HMLLP’s clients’ unique cross-border business needs.

Khris earned her bachelor’s degree in international business from Cetys Universidad.
