Hone Maxwell LLP Client Manager Eliss Chen is based in the firm’s Singapore office, where she supports client relationships, business development, and cross-border matters involving wealth transfer, estate planning, and international families. She works closely with clients and the firm’s attorneys to help ensure matters are handled efficiently while providing responsive support throughout the client experience.

With more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, and international estate planning, Eliss brings a strong understanding of the legal, financial, and practical considerations involved in preserving and transferring wealth across generations. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has extensive experience advising clients, financial advisors, and business professionals on estate planning, trusts, succession planning, and legacy preservation strategies in Singapore.

Prior to joining HMLLP, Eliss held leadership positions within Singapore’s wealth management and estate planning sectors, including serving as head of marketing for a leading trust and estate planning organization. She regularly speaks and conducts training programs on estate planning, trusts, wills, and financial planning topics throughout Singapore.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, Eliss serves as a valuable resource for Mandarin-speaking clients and referral partners, helping facilitate clear communication on complex cross-border matters.

Outside of her professional work, Eliss is actively involved in Singapore’s football community and coaches youth athletes through one of the country’s leading football development programs.
