Hone Maxwell LLP Tax Attorneys Earn Foreign Lawyer Registrations Certifications in Singapore

Hone Maxwell LLP Managing Partner Josh Maxwell and Managing Associate – Singapore Jared Garfield have each earned a Certificate of Registration of Foreign Lawyer to Practice Foreign Law in Singapore from Singapore’s Legal Services Regulatory Authority. This credential authorizes them to provide U.S. legal and tax counsel directly from Singapore, further strengthening the firm’s ability to serve clients across Asia from Hone Maxwell Singapore LLP, a registered foreign law practice in Singapore.

With this registration, Josh and Jared can now meet with clients in Singapore to advise on U.S. federal, state and local tax matters, corporate structuring, cross-border transactions and compliance issues without the distance or delays of working solely with a U.S.-based team.

“This recognition allows us to deliver U.S. legal services right where our Asia-based clients live and work,” Josh said. “It’s about accessibility, responsiveness and building stronger relationships with those navigating cross-border business and tax challenges.”

From its office in Singapore’s Marina Bay Financial District, HMLLP offers tailored guidance to businesses, investors and high-net-worth individuals with ties to the U.S.
