As we reach the end of 2022, we are looking back at all the great changes for Hone Maxwell LLP that came in the past year and we are looking forward to another successful year while we continue celebrating the firm’s 10th anniversary.
All of us at Hone Maxwell LLP are proud to have reached this important milestone: A decade of delivering tax and legal representation to individuals and businesses in the U.S. and internationally!
We know that business longevity, growth and success can only happen when you create genuine relationships with people who drive you and support you to be the best. So, as we begin a new year, we salute our friends, partners, industry colleagues and clients. From our business and legal counterparts in Asia and Mexico, and the rest of the world, to the U.S. taxpayers and, global businesses and investors who put their trust in us, thank you for your support — we could not have done it without you!
Since its founding 10 years ago by law school classmates and Big Four accounting firm alums Josh Maxwell and Aubrey Hone, the firm has prioritized building a team of talented and skilled professionals. Our people are passionate about helping individuals and businesses solve their legal problems. Our success story is based on the past and present HMLLP attorneys and staff who made overcoming challenges and meeting demands tenets of their work. In 2022, we were pleased to welcome Partner Carolina Juarez, Associate Attorney Cameron Davidson, Law Clerk Jared Garfield, Law Clerk Connor E. McGettigan, Operations Administrator Mariana Alonso and Office Manager Rachel Harman. We thank our whole team them for their dedication!
With an emphasis on multi-cultural and multi-lingual business relationships, HMLLP has forged remarkable connections globally through sharing everything from international tax law expertise to dinners of extraordinary local cuisine. We have learned so much from the legal and financial professionals who were once colleagues and whom we now count as friends. The journey has been rewarding professionally and personally.
Like every business journey, creating and nurturing a law firm for 10 years meant facing some challenges. From ever-changing tax laws to a global pandemic, HMLLP persevered. It is a testament to our commitment and dedication that we worked through whatever obstacles came our way to grow from our one San Francisco office to additional offices in San Diego, Irvine and, most recently, Tijuana, Mexico.
As we enter 2023, we are prioritizing providing quality tax law and business services. We are working hard to create a focus that best serves our clients and international colleagues, and we are excited to see what comes next!
Happy holidays, happy new year and thank you for helping make HMLLP what it is today: A team of International Tax & Business and Tax Controversy & Consulting attorneys providing Big Firm Quality with Small Firm Values!
